And the winners of the Biodiversity Action Award 2017 Minister of the Environment Award and the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award are!

2017 marks the fifth anniversary of the Biodiversity Action Award. This year we received 116 entries from across Japan, and also added new awards, which are the Minister of the Environment Award, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award, and the SDGs Award.

The recipients of the Minister of the Environment Award, the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award, and other awards have been selected.

The Minister of the Environment Award goes to: Let’s Conserve – “Eco Meeting – Environmental activities in the construction sector” (Kato Construction Co., Ltd.). And the Minister of the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award goes to: Let’s Show – ” Gyobu – Communicating about biodiversity through human diversity” (Gyobu, North Kyushu).
