The Japan Committee for the United Nations Decade on Biodiversity

At the tenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP 10) held in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, the parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity and their partners agreed to create ‘a new era of living in harmony with Nature’ by 2050. The committee promotes a wide range of activities in order to encourage as many people as possible to get in touch with nature and living things, to help protect biodiversity, and to help communicate its value to all.
